So the tour searching finished. Next, all I needed to do was flying from Ho Chi Minh to Haiphong.

Initially, I intended to fly with Vietjet Air for cheap. But in fact, the ticket price was more than 1.3 million. Flight time was too early (05:40). And I tried to find Vietnam Airlines flights. What a surprise. Flight VN 1182 departed at 08:40 and landed in Hai Phong at 10:45. Everything was perfect with the tour schedule. Even more attractive, the ticket price was more than 300,000 VND cheaper than Vietjet Air.

Before buying a ticket, I had contacted Hai Phong Tours again to confirm if such a flight was suitable. Phuong – Sale director confirmed it works and he even helped me buy tickets … Turns out, his company also has an airline ticket service.

After buying tickets and flying to Haiphong, Hai Phong Tours picked me up at the airport and went to Halong. At first I saw everything was going smoothly. When I arrived in Ha Long, I was instructed to take a boat to visit Ha Long Bay. My boat was different from the other ones parked next to it. The boat’s decoration and amenities were very beautiful and classy. Phuong said it was a luxury boat, not a regular one. So the quality was much better.

Visit Ha Long Bay for 1 day

During the Halong bay day tour, I was lead to Sung Sot cave to see hundreds of millions of years old stalactites. All were sparkling, miraculous as in heaven. I was very interested in the cave scene.

Next, I was taken to Titov Island. The guide gave me the option of bathing or walking to the top of the mountain to see the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. As a person who loves sports, I chose to go to the top of the mountain. Wow, a very interesting sight from the top of the mountain. There were hundreds of cliffs undulating on the water.

Next, I was able to paddle kakak in Luon cave and watch monkeys. I loved this activity very much. Time passed so fast, I had to go back to the harbor. All time on Ha Long Bay was about 5.5 hours. It was perfect for me since it was already quite late. I followed Hai Phong Tours’s car to Cat Bi airport. I had a light dinner at the airport and then checked-in, fly back to Ho Chi Minh with flight VN 1187. If you want to fly later, you can fly with Vietjet Air and depart at 21:15.
